The rhubarb survived the frost without a scratch. Not surprising since it was transplanted from Wyoming. It is amazing since this plant is around 100 years old. It is super hardy having lived neglected in my parents back 40. It's variety name was forgotten long ago if it was ever known in the first place. It is mostly green with just a touch of red blush at the base. I used to snack on the stalks raw from this plant as a kid. I didn't realize most rhubarb is red till I was an adult. As you can see I should have plenty of seeds for the exchange.
