The ridge beam is 8ft high. The middle outside poles are 7 ft high and the corner posts are 5 ft tall. It's fairly easy to walk under. It was erected in 2 - 4 hr sessions. It gives a lot of protection from the elements. It raises the temperature under it significantly. It prevents large variations of water (rain) from impacting the pumpkin growth. The patch is 30' x 28' and the piece of poly is 40' x 40'. This patch grew my personal best of 1632 lbs for an "outside" plant. The largest outside pumpkin in BC is the Halliday 1728.
