Your nitrate (nitrogen level seems adequate but your potassium is through roof. Did you amend your soil after you did your soil test to bring the main nutrients into balance?

You can leech the potassium out by over watering (there are others ways to decrease but likely not practical at this stage). You will have to add back nitrogen as it will flush out too. Phosphorus is very sticky though and you have plenty. Did you perhaps add extra potassium/K last year during the pumpkin growing phase?? I’d still try adding liquid kelp solution at the nodes to trick the plant into sending out those secondaries.

I did add some extra potassium during the season last year during the pumpkin growth. Definitely could be the issue! My soil test last year was still very high though in the spring with the potassium so it is definitely strange!

Your plant is still in the greenhouse. It is reaching for real levels of sunlight, regardless of the angle. Little Ketchup had suggested to add artificial light at the nodes, loosely translated. I think it'd be VERY cool to see a grow light of any kind get put as CLOSE as possible over ONE little secondary 24/7, with NO anything else and see if it has ANY effect on that ONE over a week. Now is the time. eg

Manganese is linked to potassium. If you think one is the issue then it could be the other.

I've put your soil numbers through the Langley and I see that you need to add some amendments. Langley says your Potassium is OK. Lots of micros low. Contact me for Langley results if interested.

They do have a multiple LED setup for a greenhouse, strung out like christmas lights.
Or this might be a better value:

Just an idea.

Happy Birthday Henry!! Obviously something is different from this year to the last. Given that you are now a 10 year grower (at 23!!) you should be able to figure out what has changed in the environment this year compared to previous grow years. I would compare this spring’s soil analysis with your previous spring’s analysis. Take advantage of Dave’s Langley analysis too as it certainly has helped me as a grower to ensure all my nutrients are in perfect balance. Also be very very careful if you use lights near your nodes. I fried a big leaf (and came close to doing much worse) on my 2183 Mendi this year by getting aggressive with LED lights too near my plant. The leaf reached up toward the light and got completely fried. I might just send you some liquid kelp as a birthday present to put on those growth nodes! Good luck!
