            | Doug14 | Minnesota([email protected]) | Has anyone here heard of it, or know anything about it?On another gardening forum, someone offering Russian seeds for trade, listed it, stating it could grow up to 500 kg.
I emailed them about it, and they said it was an American variety. Is it one that Howard Dill used in the breeding of the Atlantic Giant pumpkin?
I was just thinking that maybe it would be worth breeding into the A.G. for hybrid vigor.

            | Engel's Great Pumpkins and Carvings | Menomonie, WI ([email protected]) | I am thinking if someone in Russia grew a 1300 lb pumpkin we would of heard of it...That is unless Jill Pacelli was growing in Russia... I am not saying anything bad about these others gardening sites but most still believe we get pumpkins this big from milk. I would not waste one of my planting sites for this seed. | 11/4/2004 1:11:36 PM |

            | pumpkinpal2 | Syracuse, NY | experimentation is good, but i am of the belief that the hard part was done by Howard Dill, and we are now enjoying the benefits of His work.
i believe that it takes several generations of your intentions to begin to realize any new, consistent characteristics in the offspring. but, like i said,
 experimentation is good...............! good luck......eric
