This year I was growing some test FPs and noticed 2 male flowers where the stem are attached (https://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=357511). What would happen if they were females? I have seen growers grow over 3000 pounds of pumpkin on one plant but in 2 pumpkins had I culled one (if they were females) does that mean a bigger pumpkin because it’s two stems attached? I don’t know.

Typically they split from the two different fruit growing differently. I have had a few field pumpkins make it.

I'd have to go back and look, but there may be some GPC rules about these. I'm not sure doubles are accepted anymore? Even with a higher chance of a split and/or (disqualify?) it would still be fun to try...
